MACTAC IS NOW OFFICIALLY ARMOR'S MOST RECENT PARTNER

Armor is partnering with Mactac , a worldwide leader in the manufacture of self-adhesives for labelling, decoration and visual communication. The purpose of this partnership is to enhance Mactac’s existing portfolio of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approved durable films with thermal transfer ribbons. It includes the addition of Armor’s AXR 7+ thermal transfer ribbon to Mactac’s MH26726 UL file.

A partnership enabling the introduction of premium quality products:

Mactac Durable Films are high-performance adhesive labels designed specifically to resist the extreme hot and cold temperatures, moisture, UV light and chemical exposure often found in durable goods labeling applications. While Armor's      AXR 7+ thermal transfer ribbon is a super-premium resin ribbon with excellent print quality and known resistance to smudging, scratching and high temperatures.

A great combination for a better labeling experience:

By selecting the approved Mactac/Armor combinations, printers and converters can ensure label suitability and compliance with ANSI/UL 969 testing standards for displaying required safety information on UL-Certified products. Additionally, no further label testing is needed.
Mactac Durable Films with Armor AXR 7+ thermal transfer ribbon combination is intended for durable goods and industrial labeling applications such as power tools, appliances, electronics, compliance labels, and warning and instructional labels. They can be used to identify products, track or relay information, instruct or warn consumers about proper product usage.

Now, each of the following Mactac Durable Films has UL approval listed with ARMOR’s AXR 7+:
  • BDE6914: 2.6-mil white UV resistant polypropylene
  • VDG6911: 3.4-mil white vinyl
  • FCD6914: 2.0-mil white polyester
  • FED6914: 2.0-mil bright silver polyester
  • FFD6914N: 2.0-mil matte silver polyester
  • FJD6914: 2.0-mil bright silver void polyester

A worthy and practical initiative from ARMOR Mexico!

A worthy and practical initiative from ARMOR Mexico!

Within the context of the commitment of ARMOR Mexico to local development, Saturday 30th July 2016, a team of 19 employees, family members, teachers and the local school's parents association all took part in a social project in support of the nursery school in the village of Quintanares.

Some of the team live in the area around Quintanares, a small village located 17km to the north of ARMOR Mexico. The project requiring 76 hours' work, consisted of repainting the interior and exterior of the school's single classroom, which was in a very poor state not having been repainted since it was built, and of donating 10 chairs to replace the broken ones.

The objective of the project was to improve the working environment for the 16 children who went back to school end of August after the summer holidays.
