inkanto is now available worldwide

inkanto is reshaping ARMOR Thermal Transfer ribbon offering

In March 2018, after 2 years of preparing this strategic project with all ARMOR teams throughout the world, ARMOR has started shipping the first ribbons under the inkanto brand.

With inkanto, ARMOR wants to:

  • Provide its partners with additional means to create loyalty with their own customers.
  • Initiate a new dynamic on the TTR market.
  • Reinforce the difference of ARMOR ribbons with a creative name, a dynamic image and a new range of services.

In a market perceived as a commodity one, ARMOR is bringing a new kind of support to its partners with inkanto helping them to build loyalty through innovative products, services and sales arguments.

inkanto ribbons and boxes look different

  • The box of ribbons is designed to look modern and show the colourful inkanto graphic identity. When you look for your ribbon box in the warehouse, it is very easy to identify.
  • The box and ribbon labels are simplified to give a clear readability of the most important data: ribbon grade name, dimensions, printer compatibilities, traceability data.
  • The 3 inkanto ribbon families are easy to differentiate with their individual colour code: green for Wax, blue for Wax-resin and orange for Resin. It simplifies the identification of the ribbons and avoids having the incorrect ribbon in the printer.

 

A complete new ribbon offering that comes with new services

With inkanto, ARMOR has created services that have never been seen before on this market:







 
  • Each inkanto ribbon is backed by a lifetime guarantee to protect the end-user against any manufacturing defect.
  • Bad print quality is sometimes the result of ink or dust particles on the print-head, this is why each box of inkanto ribbons contains a cleaning wipe to encourage operators to take care of this crucial high-tech printer element.
  • Each box of inkanto ribbons is delivered with a complete and unique Certificate of Conformity to provide all traceability and quality data to the end-users.

These new services are bringing additional values to the ribbon and simplifying some of the daily burden of end-users.

The inkanto sample offer is now available to ARMOR partners in a pack which can be tailored to the needs of each end-user. It can be ordered by individual product grade, by product family (wax, wax resin and resin) or the complete range.

Online tools like the customer extranet and public website were redesigned to enhance both the look and the user experience.


Finally, ARMOR developed inkanto Pack which comprises inkanto end-user sales arguments ready-to use by resellers.

A WELL-BEING WEEK AT ARMOR BRAZIL

For the sixth year, ARMOR Brazil has held a Health, Safety and Environment Week focussing on employee well-being and quality of life, while at the same time reducing the risk of accidents and illness.

Health, a priority for ARMOR Brazil

In addition to instructions covering safety, which are reiterated every year, new initiatives to promote health have been implemented for 2016. Employees benefited from a health check-up (blood pressure, body mass index, blood sugar level, etc.) and health advice (lifestyle awareness, sexually transmitted diseases, etc.). 

Respect for the environment and employees' financial stability

Corporate Social Responsibility also means reducing the company's environmental impact. In addition to this campaign in favour of the environment, there was also an initiative dedicated to the important economic questions during this period of crisis. Via a questionnaire developed by experts, all employees were able to carry out an individual assessment of how they manage their finances and obtained personal advice for improving their practices.
